CLIQUE COFFEE SHOP

Clique Espresso Bar was a traditional coffee shop for years on the East Beltline in Grand Rapids and in 2015 it closed its doors. Clique Espresso Catering was born in 2014 when owner, Steve Ripley, began bringing the amazing drinks he was serving to events around West Michigan - he went full time in 2016. In 2019, Steve began looking for a new owner for Clique and late that year, by God’s grace, found Susie and Eliza VanPoolen. You'll see Steve around at events though, doing what he loves, being a barista.

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER

The mother - daughter team that now owns Clique is giving it a woman’s touch without touching the traditions of quality, dependability, timeliness and flexibility.

“It’s a privilege to bring the joy and community building aspects of a coffee shop to our customers and their guests. It’s the story of our brand really, “Clique” is a gathering of people with shared interests or other things in common….with amazing hand-crafted Italian espresso drinks in their hands”.
